The Pocono Mountain East High School Marching Band will host its annual Music Over the Mountains marching band competition on Saturday, September 27 at 4:30 p.m.

A student from Pocono Mountain West High School has been selected to serve as the first student representative to the Pennsylvania Board of Education.

The Pocono Mountain School District Board of School Directors has changed the date of its second meeting in October. The School Board will meet on Oct. 1 and Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. in the Administration Building on the Swiftwater Campus. The School Board usually meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. The public is invited to attend the meetings.
