Pocono Mountain West Junior High School (PMWJHS) opened as a junior high school within the Pocono Mountain School District in 2006. PMWJHS currently hosts grades 8 and 9 and is located in Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania.
The successful opening of West Junior High was a culminating effort of many groups and individuals; including our School Board, district administrators, faculty, staff, students, parents, and various community members. This type of collaboration, dedication, and commitment to education has long been a cornerstone of our district’s success.
It is PMWJHS' mission to prepare our culturally diverse educational community to be life-long contributing members in society through the development and implementation of differentiated programs. |
